The Veterans North, Veterans South and Girl Scout multipurpose-use buildings in Bowling Green’s City Park were in a state of decline due to their age and steady deterioration.
This project called for the master planning and conceptual design of the existing area. It was determined that the most cost-efficient solution was to combine these three rentable spaces into one 12,000 SF facility that would incorporate all of the existing amenities into one cohesive complex.
The new facility features a large meeting room that can accommodate (250) people, two smaller meeting rooms to host (64) people each, a patio, delivery entrance for catering, a warming kitchen, a serving counter, a teen activities room, and office space. LEED energy efficiency was incorporated in the design.
