About This Project

Located along the Hillside overlooking the 140 acre forested area and creek, this new restroom area offers year round comfort to park visitors.

This project includes a heated floor system along with pressure assisted plumbing fixtures and is fully compliant with current accessibility guidelines, including ramps and plumbing fixtures.

Designed using modern shaker style elements, the architecture includes a limestone water table, vertical board and batten wood siding and standing seam metal roofing. The stone base element relates to the existing stone presences on site.

Sustainable materials and systems were utilized throughout the project and include features such as:

  • Recycled content product

  • Rapidly renewable materials

  • Low VOC paints and coatings

  • Daylighting sensor

  • Wetland sanitation
