About This Project
This project included renovations to the Horace R. Collins Laboratory and Core Repository Building at Alum Creek State Park in Delaware County, Ohio. The project scope included, but was not limited to the following:
Increased thermal properties of major building components.
Interior finishes and trim upgrades.
New acoustic ceiling systems.
HVAC modifications to complement the architectural improvements.
Upgraded to energy efficient lighting.
Provided new entry vestibule.
The existing building is a single-story structure constructed of masonry walls with brick veneer and/or metal corrugated siding. The roof structure is metal deck with single ply roof membrane with metal copings.
The facility is used for the Ohio Department of Natural Resources conference space and is rentable to the general public when available.
