Dublin Recreation Center Roof Improvements

The project included replacement of the roof at the Dublin Recreation Center. The center includes a variety of high humidity areas including weight room, track, and natatorium as well as classroom and office spaces that remained open during construction. The project consisted of replacement of the asphalt shingle roof covering, underlayment, and insulation down to existing metal deck to remain. The replacement included all new gutters, downspouts, and fascias. Small portions of low slope EPDM roof were replaced as well as skylights, and minor EIFS repair. While the project was completed in 2016, Schorr Architects assisted in assessment and replacement of portions of this roof under warranty in 2023 due to manufacturing deficiencies.
