Recreation Centers Roof Replacements
South-Western City Schools
The project included replacement of the barrel shaped metal roofs at Franklin Heights, Grove City, and Westland High Schools. The facility consists of gymnasium, classroom, and offices that remained open during construction. The project consisted of replacement of metal roofs, underlayment, and insultation down to wood deck to remain. Selective repairs of the wood deck were completed as well as replacement of wall panels, gutters, and downsprouts. Due to the long spans, metal roof panels were detailed and specified for roll forming on site to create a seamless panel over the radius of the barrel roof.
