Middle School Addition

Buckeye Valley Local Schools

About This Project

We provided pre-bond issue programming and planning services to Buckeye Valley Local Schools for the replacement of their high school that is approaching (65) years old. Due to an unsuccessful bond campaign in November 2024, the school district was forced to abandon the plans for the new high school. After the election the Board of Education turned their attention to provide for the short-term needs of the student enrollment projections for grades 4-8 through year 2032.

The 40,000 square foot middle school addition will accommodate an additional 400 students and is part of the district's broad vision for continued educational development. The $20 million project project includes (16) classrooms, (4) STEM areas and a competition sized gymnasium. Construction will begin in spring 2026 with occupancy scheduled for August 2027.
