Sheep & Swine Barn Renovations
Ohio Exposition Center
This project involved the renovation of the Sheep Barn, Rhodes Center, Administration Building, and fencing work. The buildings remained in operation during construction. Design services included:
Sheep Barn - Roof Replacement of 115,000 SF. The roof replacement included the removal of built-up or asphalt shingle roofing and the installation of new metal roofing. New gutters and downspouts were also to be provided. Renovations to the Sheep Barn included door and window replacements, masonry repairs, finish upgrades, pavement and landscape improvements, HVAC upgrades, new lighting, and other upgrades.
Swine Barn - Roof Replacement of 86,000 SF. This included the installation of new metal roofing over an existing metal roof system. New gutters, downspouts, insulation, and skylights were provided. Renovations to the Swine Barn also included door replacements, overhead door replacements, exterior painting, pre-cast panel repairs, finish upgrades, pavement and landscape improvements, HVAC upgrades, new lighting, fire alarm upgrades, other electrical upgrades, and plumbing upgrades.
Rhodes Center - Partial Roof Replacement of 30,200 SF. This involved the installation of a new modified bituminous roofing system over an existing modified bituminous roofing system. Renovations to the Rhodes Center also included partial window replacements, masonry repairs, and addition of electrical outlets.
Administration Building - Roof Replacement of 11,500 SF. The roof replacement included the removal of exisiting slate roofing and the installation of new roof sheathing and a new synthetic shingle system. New copper gutters and downsprouts and a new metal soffit system were also intalled. Additional renovations to the Administration building included exterior door and window replacements, HVAC upgrades, and electrical upgrades.
Perimeter Fencing - Replacement of approximately 400 feet of chain link fence with ornamental steel fencing and cantilevered gates.
